Learning Wheel Classes
Learn how to throw pots on the wheel in our small, supportive classes (maximum 4 people).
Beginner lessons include guided instruction, materials, and firing for a small number of pieces.
Once you’ve completed an intro class, you’re welcome to join future practice sessions with limited tuition.
Trial session on the wheel- 2 hours is $80, this includes clay, tuition, firing for 3 pots. which should be ready in 3 weeks.
On-going practice is $15 per hour, clay and firing are extra.
Glazes and clay are available from the shop.
Handbuilding Classes
Handbuilding classes are perfect for beginners and creatives alike, using pinch, coil, and slab techniques.
These classes can accommodate up to 10 participants and are a great way to explore ceramics in a relaxed setting.
Cost is $24 for 2 hours, clay and firing are extra. Underglazes are available for use in the studio and some limited glazes, and dipping glazes. And a shop full of glazes to buy!
Studio Location
Classes are held in a beautiful garden studio, equipped with:
4 pottery wheels
A large slab roller
extruder
selection of tools, patterned rollers, cookie cutters etc available for use
Tables for 8–10 people
Materials & Firing
Clay, glazes, and firing services are available in the studio.

Friday- Friday night class 6 to 8.30
Saturday- 9am–1pm: Handbuilding & Wheel Practice
1pm–3pm: Wheel Class (by arrangement)
